TL;DR
- RealTimes is the Media Partner of PropTech Connect Europe 2026, which runs on 9-10 September at the InterContinental London, The O2, and the organiser bills it as Europe's largest real estate tech event.
- The partnership covers logo exchange, editorial coverage before, during and after the event, a press presence on site, and a discount for the RealTimes community. It does not cover what we write or how.
- This London Edition is written for European operators, investors and advisers who want to know which technology decisions in the UK will reach their own markets next.
RealTimes is a European commercial real estate media platform. It publishes market signals from Amsterdam to Warsaw, runs its own executive gatherings, and treats intelligence as something readers act on rather than file away. So when a technology conference in London earns a full edition, the question is fair: why this event, and why us?
The shape of the partnership
RealTimes is the Media Partner of PropTech Connect Europe 2026. In practice that means four things:
- the two organisations exchange logos on their respective sites,
- RealTimes provides editorial coverage before, during and after the two conference days,
- RealTimes has a press presence on site in Greenwich,
- members of the RealTimes community receive a discount on attendance.
That covers the full public shape of the deal. The commercial detail sits in an agreement between two companies and stays there.
Editorial independence, stated plainly
A media partnership gives us access. It does not give the organiser a pen. RealTimes chooses what it covers in this edition and how it frames it. PropTech Connect does not author RealTimes editorial and does not approve it before publication. Where this edition states facts about the event (dates, venue, stage count, audience mix, scale claims), those facts are the organiser's own, published on its site, and we quote them as theirs. Where we assess what the programme means for a European reader, that assessment is ours alone, and readers should hold us to it.
Why London, why this event
London remains the deepest real estate capital market in Europe, where debt strategy is again central to deal decisions. It is also where much of the continent's property technology is funded, piloted and, increasingly, killed off when it fails to perform. A UK operator's adoption decision in 2026 tends to become a Frankfurt or Warsaw question in 2027.
PropTech Connect Europe is the organiser's flagship European gathering. Its published agenda for 2026 lists more than 400 speakers across nine stages and over 100 hours of content, spread over the two days at the InterContinental London, The O2. The organiser describes the audience as asset managers and investors, developers, property managers, occupiers, solution providers and venture investors, drawn from the UK, Europe, the US and beyond. Those are PropTech Connect's own figures and descriptions, not an independent count. Our preview reads them as a statement of ambition, not an audited headcount.
What you will find in this edition
The London Edition is pre-event coverage. Its job is to make two days of parallel stages legible before you arrive:
- the programme decoded, stage by stage and theme by theme,
- who is in the room, and what that mix says about where UK real estate money is going,
- London's PropTech inflection point, our cover argument for why 2026 is the year pilots either scale or stop.
Every figure in these pieces carries a public source. Titles and roles are verified as we go, and where the organiser has not published something, it is not in the article.
